Join us for the first conference in Israel that will be dedicated to the topic of Rail Transportation including heavy and light rail, metro and high-speed systems. Among the topic that will be presented are plans an policies for the development of the rail network in Israel, challenges and lessons learned in the stages of design, construction, commissioning and maintenance of current and future rail projects in Israel.
Participation is free of charge, but requires pre-registration.

Location
The conference will be held in Auditorium of the Churchill building at the Technion.

Public Transport
Haifa has two main central bus and train stations:
- Carmel Beach
- line 11 It is a direct line to the Technion. It leaves the dock 16 and operates once every hour or two.
- Alternatively, take the line 123 Platform 15; You will have to change at Ziv Center (ask the driver where to get off) for any line to the Technion (11, 17, 19, 31).
- Merkazit hamifretz
- line 142 to get to the Technion. It departs from platform 21 and operates several times a day.
- A cable car also connect to the Technion
- Alternatively, take the line 16 Dock 23; You will have to change at Ziv Center (ask the driver where to get off) for any line to the Technion (11, 17, 19, 31).
At the Technion, the closest bus stop to the conference is the Meonot Amim stop.

Parking on campus is very limited. Arrival to the conference by public transportation is recommended
To enter the Technion by car, notify security at the gate that the purpose of your visit is the "Rail Transportation Conference" at the Churchill Auditorium.
You can park in the areas:
Lots near Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering or Technion pool
Lot near Nesher gate enterance
Lot near continuing education unit
Lot outside the Neve Shanan gate
All these lots are far from the Churchill building
